I agree. The mess starts when trying to turn left onto St Andrews. Some of the left-turn lane is going to Subway/Pizza Hut. Then it continues once on St Andrews due to the McDonald's and Regions traffic. What makes it bad is someone leaving McDonald's and turning right onto St Andrews and wanting to turn left onto Franklin Rd., but blocking St Adrews lanes completely by sitting cross-wise. St Andrews traffic going north is backed up and prevents traffic from Franklin Rd. wanting to get to McDonald's. A vicious cycle.
Unfortunately I have not heard from anyone from the city if this issue is being looked at. I fear this intersection will worsen as the newly opened part of the intersection begins having businesses build just past the bank and drug store.
Maybe send the newspaper a Letter to the Editor. That might work, although I couldn't get something published. The paper said the LoE was not a 'consumer complaint' process. Go figure.
Mention this site so more people use it, then the city will be pressured into monitoring the items here.
