There're many dog parks in the area. I understand what you say about the sidewalks - but...many of us put a lot of money and back breaking work into making the neighborhood nice. And - we all knew this when we bought these homes.

Should our kids go to the dog park? I am not going to drive my car to a dog park so my dogs can have a short walk! I have 2 elderly dogs, they don’t go to dog parks, they go for short walks, now on a very narrow street instead of the grassy area we always used. I bought this house knowing my city tax dollars went for maintaining public areas, so I am not sure what you are trying to say here

I think they are pointing out we bought homes here with no sidewalks to begin with. I don’t think that’s the point of the original post though. I think the point was give us sidewalks or mow the grass…and pointing out the hypocrisy of codes violations being handed out like water in our area but the city gets to do whatever they want.
