1am loud drilling. I understand sewers are being fixed and that's great but does loud drilling really have to take place at 1am? The whole family, including kids, were up all night on a school night. I just feel like there is no regard to the residents who live in the area. Can the loud drilling be done during the day?
  • Bleecker St & John F Kennedy Blvd Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
This is regarding the new construction on JFK Blvd and Bleecker st. Address is 3518 Kennedy Blvd. More than half of the sidewalk on Bleecker st. is taken up for construction. Shouldn't it be half of the sidewalk?

Not sure how best to report this but some of the lights are burning out on the sign

Washington St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - The Waterfront

Construction for the PATH substation has taken away one of the two travel lanes on Washington southbound. If the parking on the west side of Washington was eliminated for the duration of construction we would be back to two travel lanes on this highly important and heavily used north-to-south artery.

The red car in the picture occupies the only remaining travel lane and the white car is in a lane marked for parking.

We really need two travel lanes back.

Hopefully this is a fun request for the team -- there are a bunch of empty cement planters (I think about 6?) on this corner. It's possible maybe they got overlooked while other planters in the neighborhood got filled because they are relatively new and were put in during the last construction of that intersection. Would it be possible to get some plants/flowers/trees put in them?

Construction company left a divider that was never picked up. It is now a graffiti canvas for street people. Can you please remove this divider?

    317 1/2 7th St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07302 - Downtown
Hi there - the workers doing the resurfacing work on 7th Street from Monmouth to Jersey Ave. broke our sidewalk that we only just recently fixed. This is extremely infuriating. Can you please have them repair the damage they have caused. Thank you.
  • 156 Hancock Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07307 - The Heights
They are installing a gate and additional gate sliding gate that is over 10 feet in length to the outside of a gated area to begin with. There are motorized parts and well pulley system that is exposed to all children which are in the neighborhood since we have two schools one right next to the fence where the children cut through. I see the permit is posted. It is for Hancock Avenue because that’s where the rectory is whoever made this mistake of allowing it to go over the natural property line of the sidewalk in that area must reevaluate the situation.
Instead of taking down the wall and redoing it properly, they are added another element a layer on top of it existent property. Please look into this matter.

This video was taken 7:29PM May 3rd. Audible engine noise and workers still doing construction. It's 7:45pm as I type this and I can still hear the engine with my windows closed.
  • Skillman Ave & St Pauls Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
St Pauls is still missing street lines. The temp yellow one workers painted on Friday has faded, and that one was crooked to boot. It's dangerous enough being a pedestrian trying to cross the street at a crosswalk in this area. These drivers are wild. Fine if the construction can't be completed yet but can we do something about the lines? Thank you.
  • 209 Monticello Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - McGinley Square
The construction company needs to wait until kids gets to their school (ps17 ) then they can close the sidewalk, we cannot be crossing the street many times with kids to get to a school that’s only one block away, and also they can’t close the sidewalk while kids are going home after school, at least keep sidewalk clear between 8:30 to 9 am , and 2:30 to 3pm .
    Thank you

Huge Construction Noise for two consecutive days starting from 6 a.m. It is quite common in this area. Please inspect. Calling Non-emergency police would not be the solution.
