Traffic Advisory: Yale Commencement, May 16th through May 18th
Saturday May 16th, 2015
There will be a road closure on Saturday May 16th, 2015 on:
College St. between Grove St
York St. from 1PM to 2PM
due to the Yale Baccalaureate Exercise.
Sunday May 17th, 2015
There will be a road closure on Sunday May 17th, 2015 on:
College St. between Grove St. and York St. from 9AM to 10AM AND 1PM to 2PM
due to the Yale Baccalaureate Exercise.
There will also be road closures on Sunday May 17th, 2015 from 11AM to 4:30PM due to Yale Class Day at the following locations:
Elm St. between York St. and College St.
York St. between Chapel St. and Grove St.
High St. between Chapel St. and Elm St.
College St. between Grove St.Chapel St.
Please be aware that the closings listed above will cause backups on all surrounding streets, especially on Broadway St.
Monday May 18th, 2015
There will also be road closures on Monday May 18th, 2015 from 9AM to 12PM due to the Yale Commencement Ceremony at the following locations:
Elm St. between York St. and College St.
York St. between Chapel St.and Elm St.
High St. between Chapel St. and Elm St.
College St. between Grove St. and Chapel St.
Please be aware that the closings listed above will cause backups on all surrounding streets, especially on Broadway St.
There will be officers directing traffic accordingly to avoid gridlock and provide alternative routes at the following locations:
Whalley Ave and Dwight St.
Broadway St. and Park St.
College St. and Grove St.
York St. and Chapel St.
